I just came back from Nuneaton (PMP Cars) yesterday a very happy chap.. complete turbo rebuild £990 including uprated flappers, install intake pipes that I supplied £100 and fit a second hand engine mount £20. It drives like a different car, I was under the impression my turbos were healthy apart from the wastegate rattle but for that price I thought Id get em done fully and as it turns out the seals were gone so needed doing any way. the power winds up so much quicker now. I got a JB4 box set on map 5 so it auto tunes any upgrades apparently and it seemed to make massive gains from intercooler and charge pipe I already fitted and even more now, its so rapid, so much so my poor crappy avons on the back seem to struggle a bit so I best get some decent tyres. I think the missus would have a fit if I mention the words 'limited slip diff' so I could save a cheeky bit that she doesn't need to know about I suppose :-)

OH!! I posted a threat regarding my ABS pump a while ago, the ABS light has been on all the time and Mill Lane Automotive which is I believe a well respected place diagnosed it as the pump.... 'definitely!!!' However, my new best mate from PMP whacked it with a hammer, wiped the codes and its stayed off since. he said if it comes on again, get the codes read and send him the details as he reckoned its a specific code for the pump. Any way its stayed off, So were Mill Lane trying to drum up some business? they done a couple of jobs for me including walnut blasting last year so I had them down as ok. So any ideas how and why a 'technical adjuster' seemed to do the trick?
