BMW M2 convertible???

Spotted on the motorway but looked online and they don't seem to exist and the numberplate is registered to a VW van. Any ideas how this is possible?

Makes sense I was putting DNZ 5. I thought it would have been an m235/40 with a kit but surely the convertible would be slightly different?
