As the title suggests, need to clean up my leathers but want to bring back the matt finish

They are starting to look gloss and shiny resembling something of a latex gimp suit

I don't mind that on occasion but not when riding the bike laugh

If you ever get to the bottom of how to achieve that brand new matt leather finish on old leather kit let me no, I have so much kit but always feel the need to waste money on new matt finished leathers its actually a medical problem that needs solving frown

Muc-Off is not too bad, it's not matte, but it's not Renpur shiny.

The best stuff that I've found that doesn't leave it gloss is Dianese leather cleaner and conditioner. It's not cheap though.

That or the furniture clinic cleaner and cleaner (I use it on my sofa) doesn't give too shiny a finish.

pear soap and a leather brush.
Leaves a matte finish, supposedly used by rolls royce?

The BKS stuff is good but I'd imagine it depends on the finish of the original leathers.

I've used leather honey on a jacket which works great: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Leather-Honey-Conditioner...
They also do a cleaner: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Leather-Cleaner-Honey-Acc...

It puts the lotion on it's skin, or else it gets the hose again.

Another vote for pears soap here. I’ve used Renapur which is good but can leave leathers shiny. Pears is much better imo

Read through these and should've before spending tried that pears soap which is really cheap

Anyways I went with this. Bought a multi deal thing with the cleaner, cream, brush and clothes

Definitely really got the leathers clean. It's not matt but it's not gloss shiny either

Looks good to me, autoglym stuff tends to just work which makes it easy.
