Any recommendations for an alternative to the California Superbike School (appears they have gone under) ideally at a circuit in the south (brands, thruxton or silverstone) and offering similar coaching?

Cheers

Have they really gone under?! That's such a shame as I enjoyed my level 1 a lot this year and was hoping to carry on with it frown

Certainly the UK one seems to have. I did level 1 couple of years ago, was hoping to go again in 2020.

Maybe an excuse to do one abroad haha. I have heard that the Ron Haslam Race school is good as well though so might be worth a look

I did Levels 1 and 2 in Istanbul this year. Mega track - I did a very sweaty, slightly st video review of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJLlIWjgbvk

Didn't realise the UK arm's gone under – that's a bit of a bummer.

Haslam school is a great introduction to track days with top class instructors. Works on a 2pupil to 1 instructor or premier plus is one to one. Use there bike and Leathers if the worst happens it's at no cost to you wink

There's still a few training schools going in the absence of CSS
Haslam do days at Donington most Wednesday's
Silverstone have their masterclass days
Gary Walton, Mike Edwards, Dean Ellison and a few others do 1:1 days

It was only the company that had the license for CSS in the UK that went bust, so there's still a chance someone else will take over the franchise - Although I think their coaching methods are a bit old hat now, so not sure how popular they'd be to be worth what I suspect is a massive licensing fee

I'd now go down the 1:1 or 1:2 route as you'll get better focus, try Chris Butcher at High Performance Coaching www.hpc.bike he is ex CSS and was out in Portimao with us last weekend .... good lad ...
