I keep getting calls from the 'Accident advice Centre' as apparently I am due compensation for an accident.
How these guys managed to get hold of my landline, mobile & work numbers, is nothing short of disgraceful, & they won't stop calling, despite being told politely & on subsequent occasions, less politely, to stop calling.

Have you had an accident involving insurance companies? They tend to sell your details on to these parasites then complain about prices going up because of litigation, it's like me complaining if I got lung cancer despite smoking for 60 years rolleyes

I had one based in Liverpool calling for a while, told them the call was being recorded and their daily calls were harassment and must stop. Seemed to work.

They tend to use different randomly generated landline numbers so blocking is next to pointless.

The insurance companies often sell the data too. Right load of arse.

Yep - a very minor shunt. The insurance company sorted it without any hassle & all was good. A month later I start getting calls from these bloody parasites along the lines of 'you deserve to be looked after....' Deserve what exactly?? My bike was fixed, I didn't suffer a scratch & the 3rd party was very apologetic & a decent sort. It's bordering on fraud.....

Bloke on the phone said they have access to an accident database. I'm not convinced, as they appear to have my mobile, landline & work phone numbers. I wonder how much the insurers make selling this data, even though I ALWAYS tick the box stating that I don't want my details passed to third parties.
Oh well, I suppose another few months of harassment is in store.....
