(A newbe so be gentle)
Have been saving and waiting for years - the TVR fund is a common point of derision amoungst my friends, (and contention for the girlfriend) - but the time is approaching.
What height limits are there for the Cerbera and Tuscans? I am 6'3" is there hope?

Peter Wheeler is 6'6" by all accounts and makes all his cars so he can drive them. I'm 6'4" and I have been able to fit in every TVR I have been in so far.

I'm 6'8", and although i've never been in a Cerbera, i've had no problems with the Tuscan, Griffith, Chimaera, or classic TVR's

Good luck with the hunt!

...and one shorter at 5'7" ... only problem I have is that I headbut the A pillar every time I get in or out and would prefer the door hinges at the rear to save numerous grazed shins / ankles !!!

I'm just under 6'6" and fit into the Cerbera very comfortably. The driver's seat is pushed all the way back which renders the rear seat behind the driver unsuitable for anyone other than a small child (my 6 year old son sits in it with a little room to spare ... but not much). Other than that, it's fine.

Height 'shouldnt' be a problem for TVR owners.

I'm 6ft 4 inches and drive a Chimaera. Does anyone else have a problem with the roof hoop? My head is too close to this for comfort and I worry that in an accident I will bash my head on it (already have once or twice when I've been caught out by nasty potholes). I have tried sliding the seat base forward a bit, then reclining the backrest, but that makes things a bit weird, pushing the seat base back and straightening the backrest means my arms are too close to the steering wheel (looks like that numpty driving position). Pedals are near enough all the way in BTW and the seat is not raised in any way.

No problems with the roof down of course.

Well, it can be. I'm 5'3" and reaching the pedals is a bit difficult! Must get around to adjusting them one of these days. Or growing longer legs. (Oh, yes please!!!)

Mind you, that's not height being a problem I suppose. It's lack of it!!

Another 6 footer here, at 6'7" I fit nicely in my Chimaera. Although the roof hoop sometimes catches me out as well occasionally, no more than smacking my head on the top of door frames when I'm not being careful though.....!

Tuscan, Griffith and Cerbera were ok as well, just had to lay back a bit more in the Cerbera when I tried it on for size!!!

A very timely thread! We're planning on taking the plunge into Chimaera ownership next year but I've had concerns about the minimum height required to play. I'm okay at 5'10" (although a relative midget by these standards) but my wife is a petite 5'1".

Is there enough seat and/or pedal box adjustment to cater for a 5'1" driver?

Cheers/Jono

Dont forget to check you can sit comfortably in the passenger seat too. A friend of whoe 6fiit 6in coouldnt fit in my Chimaera because of the shortened leg room due to the battery placement.

My girlfriend is 5'1" and does have problems with the pedals, that is unless she sits on a cushion.

You can get different pedals for the smaller driver, and I believe Leven does them.

Thanks for the feedback, - now anyone got a spare 20K lying around they don't mind donating to the fund?
