First 2020 test at Valencia now underway.

Will be interesting to see if the 2020 Ducati is all new as reported in a few places. Also interesting to see if Mr Zarco appears anywhere..

I missed that bit. 2018 or 2019 bike? Already thrown it down the road at T10.

Rossi just departed. I noticed a new upper fairing design with a wildly different design of air intake. New air box etc for the M1 engine? They know they lack power.

Looks like the KTM of Pol is the only 2020 bike out so far (all black scheme). Unless I've missed another.

Pedrosa out as well but on a fully liveried factory KTM not the Tech 3 one they said he would be, unless he's working from their garage.

I believe Dovi has turned some laps on 2020 bike.

Good to see #26 out there.

I've got his MotoGP Technology book. It's quite an amazing thing. I'm hoping he produces a pre season testing booklet with lots of pics and details.

I've got the same - it's really interesting to learn how small changes affect one parameter positively, but can introduce another issue. From that book I've started paying moe atention to things on bikes now, looking for those changes in thinks like material around the headstock, the engine mounting points etc etc

It dawned on me a while ago that when I used to be a die hard F1 fan, I didn't so much care about the racing(ha), but was far more interested in the technology and development of the cars. As you say, small changes can have positive and negative effects and it's weighing up those compromises.
