Have moved from Google to DDG, but after some use, it appears to be US default search. Is there a UK version? Ive not found anything after a quick search.

I just switch it to the UK option whenever I start it up. Also, I use the Brave Browser too.

Thats the option I cant see ?

I do usually add UK to the term. but it would be easier if it worked from the the start.

Right hand side near the top - icon with 3 horizontal lines (to the right of the twitter icon).

From the drop-down, select "other settings"

Then the first choice on the "other settings" page is "region"

Set to UK, and scroll down to get the "save and exit" button.

It only appears once you have performed a search. (So my original response was actually inaccurate).

Got to admit sometimes I switch from DDG to Google as results aren't great, will make sure I update it when get home in morning to be UK focused.

Been using Firefox on Ubuntu for ages will give Brave a try. Does it let you sync between devices by creating a login like Firefox does?

Yep.
And sometimes I do the opposite especially if I am searching for something older on the internet (google prioritises current or recently updated pages - sometimes ahead of the actual seach terms) .

Ditched Firefox on my Android phone last night while at work (Pixel 4 XL) for Brave and got to admit the experience was a lot better, found a lot of pages work on Chrome/Chromium based mobile browsers but didn't on Firefox.

Installed Brave today on Ubuntu and got to admit like the choice of private or TOR tabs.

With DDG, is there a way to use Googlemaps, instead of the default Apple Maps?
