It's been a long time since I've had a puncture, so thought I'd ask on the off chance anyone might have a recommendation for someone who can fit tyres on the drive or is a fitter local to SG10 Bishops Stortford, Herts.

I've used e-tyres before, but it doesn't look like they can fit anything in for a week or so.

It's a Michelin Pilot Super Sport 285/30 r20/Y for the record. Best I can find in a very limited search so far is about £250 fully fitted (on drive).

Probably not that helpful, but I'd get a full size spare rear wheel for an M4 with tyre just to get you about.

(There's one on eBay for £150). I know it won't match the others but always useful to have

I am very local to you with the same car and just had Kwik Fit replace all 4 of my tyres on my drive.

They were PS4’s but were the cheapest place I could find and had bookings available the day after booking.

I know they get a questionable reputation on here but I thought the guy who came round was excellent. (No affiliation except for being a happy customer!).

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses gents - I was up early so have been doing some searching, and have booked it in with Stortford Performance Tyres (through Pro-Tyre) for fitting tomorrow @ £230 all-in, which feels reasonable.

I just hope I can get enough air in the current tyre to get me up there!

Buying a spare seems reasonable idea too.

Can you not just fix the puncture?

Hopefully, we'll see - it's one of the reasons why I decided to go to a fitter rather than have it done at home, as they should be able to assess if a repair is possible and do that if possible. I'm not sure if mobile fitters typically have that capability.

Middle son needs a lift to Stansted tomorrow morning, so it all fits in, timing wise!
