Employment law specialist - education sector

Can anyone recommend a firm that specialises in employment law in the education sector?

Situation is a headteacher has been suspended 2 working days after an Ofsted inspection and help and expert advice is required. The union is involved of course, but we suspect that we may need some more robust legal advice.

Goggle doesn't bring up many specialists other than:

Cannot go into specifics on an open forum, but any recommendations for firms who specialise in this field would be much appreciated.

A teacher relative of mine had issues with her employer, the union help was very poor and she had to resort to employment lawyers who sorted it out quite quickly. Her colleagues who just relied on the union help did not get such a positive outcome.

That was a firm of general employment lawyers not specialists in education.

I have assisted two Uni Lecturers, one Senior School person (Admin) and one Teacher thus far but I do not specialise in "Education" as such.. I suspect a standard employment lawyer will be able to help given the facts set out in your OP .

That they are. Super posh but also super good and super fun to work with. Their head employment lawyer David Smellie, a very delightful man, used to do a lot of education stuff as well. Nowadays he mainly does child safeguarding work.
