Headlights Vantage
Discussion
I have owned my Vantage V8 2006 for 2 years and love it to bits.
I live in rural France and so there are practically no garages that have ever seen an Aston never mind worked on one and so I am asking for help online !
I think that at sometime in the past my car suffered from some front end damage.
My headlights do not sit correctly in the wings as the gap around is uneven.
Having studied lots of photos of other cars I am convinced that all is not well. I have also looked at images of how the light is mounted and I believe that it bolts underneath a bar that comes off the main front frame.
With the attachment being under that bar I cant see how I can adjust into position in the aperture.
They appear to sit too low at the rear and too high at the front
I can’t see that there would be any point in trying to adjust the wings as it would no doubt alter the gaps between the bonnet etc.
Any help would be appreciated!
Mike

Possibly had a bumper resprayed or another common issue with low sports cars is people pushing the car on the headlight itself ! As to not dent the body.
Eva way best solution would be to remove front bumper for me . And expose any bent brackets . Take a photo first to check back on when readjusting .

I have exactly the same issue. Its such a small difference but i know its there..
I also think the only way to adjust it is to remove the bumper and go from there.
Let me know how you go please mate if you do attempt it. In the manual there are tolerances shown per gaps.
Cheers,
Gary.
