On the cover of the June 2005 edition of Bike magazine a chap has a very nice Shoei hemet - can anyone tell me what model it is? I've looked on their website but have drawn a blank (I guess it's an old model and I won't be able to get it - bah!).

I can tell you it's not an XR900 cause thats what I've got (and very nice it is too)

Are you sure it's not the xspirit with a custom paint job or something.

The vents seem to be the same.

That's the one, I think. I had a look at the new XR1000, and though it's almost the same (nice scoop on the back) the vents are different.

As I'm a noob, can anyone recommend a custom paint job company, and give an indication of what this little indulgence will cost?
