What would your ideal job be?

Money considerations aside, as per thread title.
I think I'd fancy being a script writer for Coronation Street, would be fun thinking up new storylines.
I've been watching it since the first episode in 1960, the first thing I would do is have a massive cull of many of the characters, Fiz, Paul, Kel, Ali, Michelle, Robert, Kirky, Alya, Dev's kids, Craig, Max, Billy Vicar.....I think another Rovers fire is on the cards, or possibly a coach trip crash on an outing to Llandudno.

The only time I think I've made poor life choices are when I watch the last 10 minutes of Planet Earth and think I'd love to be a cameraman on that program. I think I'd happily camp on the side of a mountain for 2 months for that moment of elation when you eventually capture footage of a snow leopard. Although I imagine it would have quite an impact on my family and social life!

I thought about setting similar up earlier.
I’m not sure wether I still want to be in the police. I did want to be back when I was 15-20. Was probably a bit too young at that age, got into my current job and the role of a policeman seems to have got worse in the years since and my wage right now/ what I do is good.
I know police shows glamorise the job and that isn’t what happens everyday but there’s an air of excitement around it and doing good in the world/ protecting innocent people.

One of my lads is a policeman. He started as a special when he was about eighteen, and has just been promoted to an inspector at 32.
He loves the job, doesn't even mind the crap hours.
Just heard a fascinating podcast about an outfit that puts cars into a massively oversized MRT device, scans them inside out then cleans up the data to arrive at a perfect 3D model -- complete with meta data (material, weight, cost...). Possibilties are endless, from competitor cost analysis to 3D printing parts for an obscure classic.
So this one is *really* sad: car costing/engineering analyst. Always found it interesting to take complex stuff apart and study it. Bit late to switch careers sadly...

Build/play with computers etc all day. Anything from custom gaming stuff to network setup. Or Mechanic on some form of tasty cars. I'd happily fiddle with cars or tech all day!
There's just no margin in building computers and mechanics don't get paid much/you deal with the crap jobs.
