Vanishingly unlikely I know. But suppose the exit polls show a clear Corbyn majority and through the night the results confirm it. What do we do? (Apart from have a rant on PH of course).
Maybe liquidate any shareholdings the moment business opens on the Friday?
Buy some foreign currency?
Buy gold?
Go into 'miser mode' in anticipation of economic collapse? Or alternatively spend like mad in anticipation of hyper inflation and/or wealth confiscation?

Calm down dear.

The chances of a labour victory are very small but not as small as the likelihood that Corbyn would be able to implement the manifesto in full (I haven’t compared past manifestos with what happened after the elections but I doubt it would make pretty reading).

Join the party.

Spend all your money, give away your house and stop working. You will then be conforming to what they seem to want as a citizen.

Corbyn doesn’t need to win; he only needs the Tories to fail in their attempt to get a majority. If this happens there will be some form of pact with the SNP. He probably won’t be able to implement his crazy manifesto in full, but that won’t stop the markets going into free fall etc.

Friday morning the wife and I will be off down the Doc's to get signed off from work and then start applying for all the free stuff that will be available.

I reckon within a month or so we'll be better off biggrin

I wonder whether an enforced Labour / X alliance might be a desirable outcome.

I've voted Tory all my life, but cannot vote for them now in light of their performance over the past five year....and Boris.

Whilst it would be a dangerous situation, I wonder whether an alliance involving Labour and another factio,n that ensures that the Labour moderates come to the fore, could work.

We've prepared eviction packs for our BTL's. We're gradually selling anyway, but under Labour I wouldn't want to be holding property.

I'm retiring before April so will probably move that forward to January. It's hard going back after Christmas as it is!

I was going to start a hobby business for my retirement but would probably not bother, it will me much harder under Corbyn.

If they try to bring in LTV and a larger inheritance taxes then I'll probably end up abroad. The money saved will fund a good life in the sun. I would say to people that want a socialist country they should move to one, I will practice what I preach smile

I suppose we could ask the rest of the world not to let him borrow too much.

Kind of like these gambling adverts.... "when the fun stops...stop"

Never underestimate the ability of the British voter to cock things up.

I remember on the run up to the referendum people saying that there's no point voting because it would be a minority who would be stupid enough to vote leave.

Then there was the election where Cameron included the referendum, people saying he'll never do it.

Now we have polls telling us the tories will win.

I wouldn't assume anything at this point.

Even if Labour get in, they will have a fight on their hands.

I wonder how many are in my position of not knowing which way to vote.

Indeed, the Brexit referendum is proof of that.

If Corbyn wins I'll look on the bright side, and celebrate that pathological liar Johnson losing. That'll give me the feel good vibe for a few weeks. Then I'll start to cry about Corbyn winning.

I'd probably moan and carry on pretty much as before. About the same as I'll do if [when] Boris wins.

I'll get up and go to work. At least we might have an opportunity to stop Brexit, which will do much more lasting damage than a few years of Corbyn.

Won’t be too bad as the wife is a nurse and we need to buy a property. Thinking about it, I should vote for Jezza and the groovy gang scratchchin

I'll work on a case of the fibromyalgia and get myself retired at 32, enjoy a new car yearly and a few holidays in the sun a year. Sounds good

Citation needed. All the forecasts I've seen suggest the exact opposite.
