Porsche 968 Coupe - Boot/Hatch release motor

Does anyone know the MOTOR parts/part numbers that work in a Porsche 968 Coupe to release the boot/hatch.

My release motor has failed - I have seen a few different part numbers online (some starting 944 and others 951).

Does anyone know for sure if the 944/968 parts are one and the same here? Would a 924/924S part work?

Any help would be appreciated.

I think they are the same as late 944. You will see if you look at a few on eBay that the early ones have a different plug. If I remember correctly the early has a round plug and the late has a square plug. Could be wrong, check which yours has.
Also check it hasn't just stripped or snapped the cam that pulls the cable. That's what happened to mine and is a common fault. If that's the case you would hear the motor spinning but it would not free the hatch.
