IIRC Gemini alarm system , not sure if it qualifies as an imobiliser these days.

hmmm..... even more confused I've got a Meta..... original booklet...... and certifying cert about 4 years old

Yep, Gemini is the original, not Thatcham approved these days. I still have the Gemini fitted to my May 92 car but had a second Meta unitfitted about 5 years ago to comply with insurance requirements.
