Warrington 1990s

Found this bus ride through Warrington town centre in the early 90s. Plenty of 80s and 90s motors to spot, Fords being probably the commonest. Spot the Porsche 928 at the 28 sec mark. Try picking up one of those today for less than 15k.

It looks like my parents' clips of the 60s when I watched them in the 80s.

The 90s only feels like yesterday to me, and yet that felt like decades earlier.

Always like a good bit of nostalgia, worked around Warrington in 70/80’s, some of it looks a bit modern from what I recall

Tbf though, Warrington’s never been a modern up-to-date place I’m my experience. It probably looks the same now.

I also think it is mid to late '80s. That feels right to me. It is probably before 1993, since the large tile shop at the end of the video has an 0925 'phone number emblazoned on it. The numbers changed to 01925 in '93, IIRC.

There is a Proton at 30 seconds, and they weren't available in the UK until late 89/early 90, so I think 1990s is correct

Must be early 90s otherwise the uploader wouldn't have put early 90s, unless they were just guessing. It has that early 90s feel about it to me. No doubt there was still some 80s trends and fashions that got bled over to the early 90s, for instance bushy hairstyles in women and blokes walking around with mustaches lol.

I always like to keep a look out for stuff like this on youtube.
