Omega Seamaster 2003 - it's stopped working

As per title, Seamaster chronograph has stopped working... if you give it a good shake it will wake up for 10s of minutes but then stops again. I have tried manually winding but that had no affect.

It's been worn everyday since new and never serviced.

Hopefully it's just an age thing and a good service will sort it out? Anyone with a similar experience or pearls of wisdom (and hopefully not it's knackered buy a new one!!)

Sound like the mainspring has snapped. When that happened to mine it went back to omega for a full service
