As a naive Southerner, and this happened the other side of Watford, can anyone tell me what it is about?
Where did the machetes suddenly come from?
Is it a bit of tribal warfare?

Whatever happened to neutron bombs? I know the Dead Kennedys had a song about the pros and cons of them, but why can't we have them in this country?
Bring back the 1980s, that's what I think
Efficiency and progress is ours once more Bring back the 1980s, that's what I think
Now that we have the Neutron bomb
It's nice and quick and clean and gets things done
Away with excess enemy
But no less value to property
No sense in war but perfect sense at home.
It’s has to be a cultural thing/ where you are from etc
Down here in the rural Isle of Wight we used to roam around the countryside armed to the teeth. It wasn’t that long ago. Everyone had a knife on their belt, I was the odd one out with a machete. Almost everyone I knew had a black widow and a bag of stones or marbles and there was the occasional Gat gun. One or two of the rich kids had holstered Webleys. I simply don’t remember anyone getting violent/ threatening or using stuff like that in anger against one another. It simply did not enter your mind they were objects to enjoy nothing else. They were NEVER EVER was taken into town.
