As above, can anyone suggest a suitable HDD for occasional recording? Are there any pitfalls or shortcomings as in is it possible to pause live TV as I was accustomed to doing with my old Humax HDR which I have mothballed for the time being..
I don't know about that particular model, but you can certainly pause live TV on mine. I use a 64Gb memory stick as this doesn't need power and is hidden. I believe the files are In a bespoke format so can't be played or copied anywhere else.
