Cannot tilt seat forward to access rear seats

The button/ lever on the base of the backrest doesn't seem to work on the passenger side. All of the electric adjustment switches work fine, it's just the lever that tilts the seatback forward to access the rear seats.

My electric release works (makes a click) but does not release seat back. I have to yank hard on the manual strap to release it.

I had this exact same thing with the seat button on my MY14 DB9...twice!

As i recall the dealer removed and re-fit the seat, though i'm unsure whether they did anything to the seat when it was out or whether the act of removing/refitting somehow resets it. It did pop an airbag code that needs to be reset after putting seat back in
