fuse confusion
Discussion
Hi all, after my flat tyre light came on I noticed I needed air in one of my tyres, (but strangely it never came on the other week when it was completely flat), so pumped it up but the light on the dash wont go out so done some research and found out the fuse could need changing, number 24 I believe hidden behind the glovebox. ok all good so far, now normally on the back of the cover it tells you where the fuses are located but in this case it seems to be on a piece of folded card attached to the cover, or is that not what that card is? now looking at that diagram I found where fuse 24 should be however the fuse board bares no relation to what's on the printed card but even so I couldn't find a fuse 24 either. also I noticed on the fuse board there were lots of fuses of the same number too (green 30 for example) but again nothing like that on the card, any ideas?
On the youtube clip I found his fuse box seemed to be the same as mine and he knew where it was located, he counted for across in one of the higher up middle blocks of fuses, very strange

On my E60 and my X4 you just go in to the idrive and reset the tyre pressure monitor. and then drive abit to leave it to sort its self out. Yeah I had a look at that nothing regarding resetting anything in the hand book however there is a reset option on the dash but that only hides the flat tyre light until the car is started again, the tiny warning triangle thing is still there. Any one have any ideas as to how to locate fuses?
This is for an E90 2004-2013 - seems to be two types.

Every fuse box I have ever seen has a "map" for want of a better word on the lid showing which fuse is which, or a number next to each slot.
Indeed. And the map card tends to be accurate - once you figure out the orientation. In this case I doubt it's a fuse, as the system works from the ABS sensors & works out difference in rotation between wheels. On the E90 you reset the warning with the BC button at the end of the stalk. With the car running, press the BC button & use the scroll buttons until you get to the appropriate symbol, then press & hold BC to reset. Then start driving & all should be ok with the world again.

I think I tried something like that but I'll have another look thanksIn this case I doubt it's a fuse, as the system works from the ABS sensors & works out difference in rotation between wheels. No idrive I'm afraid, an old basic(ish) 335i, sorry I should have been clearer
This is how I reset my 330i when it decides to moan at me.

The reference you mention of "green 30" means that it is a 30 amp fuse not fuse number 30.

Yeah I'm aware its a 30 amp fuse but there was no reference to that cluster in the diagram regardless of orientation. maybe just one of those mysteries. a bummer if I do ever need to change a fuse, all sorted now though managed to reset it. thanksEvery fuse box I have ever seen has a "map" for want of a better word on the lid showing which fuse is which, or a number next to each slot.
