Breitling repair time scale !!!

When re-setting my Avenger GMT I happened to notice that the hour hand and the minute hands were not perfectly aligned at 12 (the hour hand was slightly past the minute hand when set to dead on 12). The watch is only 15 months old and so is in the warrantee period so I took it back to Beaverbrooks form where I purchased and they sent it for what seems to be a relatively simple repair/adjustment. Allowing for the fact that it will no doubt undergo a service and test at the same time I was told about 3-4 weeks. Today, nearly 4 weeks later, I am told I 'may' get it back for Christmas !! Gutted and disgusted.

Similar issue on an Omega
it required new parts to fix the hands not aligning
but has been A1 since repair and service
keeps nigh on perfect time.
took 3-4 weeks to complete.
I assume waiting on parts and getting the watch into the repairers schedule.
