Well, that's it.

I am looking for maximum/minimum thermometer which can keep a record. The idea is that I can leave it at home while I am away and retrieve the figures at some time in the future. The ability to do this remotely would be good.

Any ideas, please?

Thank you for that.

£99.99. A bit more than I wanted to pay.

standard data loggers are cheap but not accessible remotely.

I use those a lot at work and they are good.

It's the ability to access remotely that's the issue.

I use these and they work great :

No remote access though.

With a little programming ( or copy and pasting from google), you could get a raspberry pi zero (£5 or £9-10 with wifi and Bluetooth), small sd card £5, and a temperature sensor. (Few quid for a small oled display if you want a readout) and a temperature sensor.
Then record values to the sd card and access them over the network, or email them to yourself occasionally.
