Also, for some reason Sheilas Wheels came out cheapest on the Meerkat thing, who are now asking for copies of Driving licence, proof of residency and also a DVLA code
Never had this before. Never used them either but it does seem very expensive and a ball ache.

Something crazy is happening, either they know that they are all going to get nicked, or the cheap finance package has opened the door to younger owners, who will write them off.

Did you pay up front? My girlfriend had this with them before, we believe it's done in the hope you don't provide one of the documents in the given time - allowing them to cancel and keep your premium.Never had this before. Never used them either but it does seem very expensive and a ball ache.
Careful if you're emailing them it too as they claimed they hadn't received her proof of residency and didn't chase for it! She'd been panicking about them trying to cancel so ended up calling them, that's the only reason we found out.

I have just moved to RAC where it's now £500.

I have just moved to RAC where it's now £500.
