Afternoon gentlemen

Got a peugot partner 2.0 ltr hdi had it six years and have replaced the crankshaft sensor every year due to the car starting up then cutting out , i may have to try up to six or more times before it will tick over , seems to be mainly in winter

Recently spent a few bob on it , new starter motor ,timing belt , crank shaft and camshaft sensors , had it diagnosed at auto elecs where they couldnt find any fault

Brought it home been ok for about a week then did exactly the same again , started up after about six attempts , next day no problem started straight away , any ideas as dont really want to get rid after spending on it

Do you have a spare key? With the list of items replaced It sounds like it could be a problem with the ignition switch or immobiliser transponder. Hence try a spare key to see if it makes any difference.

The ecu relay can also become suspect which could be made worse by damp cold weather, I'd check the fuse box for signs of moisture

Will give the other key a go see if that makes any difference , its an intermitant fault that does happen more so in winter

This does sound like an immobiliser issue to me as well. Could be the sender in the key, or the receiver near the ignition barrel. Had a very similar thing happen on a Seat Ibiza I had, that was the receiver that needed replacing.

Can you get the receiver ring seperately or is it part of a kit

Had to take a guess on the exact Model you have

https://partsouq.com/en/catalog/genuine/unit?c=Peu...

The Antenna or Aerial is a Coil that powers the Immobilser Chip in your Key.

If at fault, I would have expected it to put an Error Light on the Dash.

Google Image for Peugeot Partner Immobiliser will show Pics of a few types.
Looks like you can get a used one for less than £20. Might be worth a try.

Try wiring a test lamp to the fuel cut off solenoid supply as close to it as possible

The light will not illuminate if the immobiliser or some other fault appears

Leave light connected and use vehicle until it fails
