female maser owner..asks...
Discussion
Hi there folks...
hubby bought me a 3200GT Asseto Corsa - Manual (46/75) from Black & White...pics will follow
It has done 18000...few quick questions..
the oil pressure is always at max ie 100% of the dial all the time of the dial... is that right?
few slight noises when i am at low speed when i change coming from the gearbox...anything i should listen out for?
where is the best independent servicer of masers around London?
Picture added of my new car to my profile...finally i have mastered technology
!
it is silver with black leather and red piping...looks super!
Any other things i should know?

Hi congrats on the car - Assettos are lovely
I use Verdis for servicing - they seem pretty competent and various people here use them without incident.
The manual gearbox can be a bit noisy and notchy between 1st and second when cold - once it's warmed up and been used a bit shoudl be smoother and quieter.
You may also notice the power steering pump working hard if you're going slowly on full steering lock - they all do that so not to worry - it's a juddery sort of noise!
If you don't have one you night want to consider a sports exhaust - sounds lovely!
Apart from that leave the sport button well alone if it rains and respect the car in the wet generally!

Failing that find a place with loads of run off. Then switch traction control completley off. Stab the throttle a couple of times and you won't want to do it again :|
Love these cars.
