Audi Q2 clutch opinion

Good morning all,

I'm hoping someone can give an opinion on the below pictures that Audi have sent over.

Bit of backgroud, we bought the car back in august, around 6 weeks later started to experience judder pulling away in first gear. Taken it back to the dealer who have dropped the gearbox to inspect the clutch and are blaming the problem on wear and tear and need £1800 to fix the problem.

The car is a 17 plate Q2 and has covered less than 12k miles from new. (3.5k by us)

Yep, that is definitely a clutch pressure plate & DMF.

Joking aside, as there isn't really anything untoward to see there I am guessing the DMF itself is goosed & as clutches pre-se are considered wear & tear items it will be hard to argue with the diagnosis.
