AutoSketch/AutoCAD LT

What are the main differences between AutoSketch and AutoCAD LT? Is AutoSketch is just a bare-bones version of AutoCAD? or are they completely different drawing packages?

I have AutoCAD 2004LT and I need to create drawings that can be viewed/modified in AutoSketch v7 (.DWG I believe). Is this possible with AutoCAD, or will I have to fork out anther £150 quid for AutoSketch?
