Hi,
I have a strange hankering after a 2 litre wedge convertible, partly because i like the shape and the underbonnet accessibility has to be better than on a 2.8i I used to own, and also I'm not too bothered about performance nowadays.
However, it's years since I saw one for sale. I know that not very many were made, but are there still any out there potentially in the marketplace? Ian

Hi Ian.
You may kick youself for not posting your question a few weeks earlier once you read the following thread but, if nothing else, it proves that they are out there.

Good luck with your quest.

Hi Rik, thanks for the link, I've seen comments about that fhc on Facebook recently when it came up for sale again . It did look a bit sad tbh!

If you're up for a bit of a challenge why not get a 280i Wedge, junk the V6 "boat anchor" and have a nice modern Ford 4 pot fitted scratchchin

Probably as powerful as the V6 and a darn site more economical, neat and compact smile

Now that's something I'd not thought of! I'll have to have a ponder on that...thanks for the suggestion.

Or you could stick in two 4-pots, arranged in a sort of 'V' configuration ;^)

I'm going to totally confuse you now. I've got a 200 with a V6 fitted!

I didn't do it, no idea how long it's been like that. I've got a Pinto and Type 9 box in the shed should I ever want to put it back to the original engine.
