Thoughts on missing history please -£30K plus car

I've been negotiating on a main dealer Lexus. ..its an RCF 5 litre / V8
It should have had three services 12/24/36 months. Unlike BMW and others, Lexus are still old school in their 12 month service Intervals.
This car had its 12 month service at 17 months so 5 months late but with only 6k on the clock. Its second service never happened and the third has just been completed at the dealers prior to re sale on 15k and 36 months..
Now I doubt that the car has come to any harm but it really gets me thinking about the previous owner. Who would buy a 60k car and not bother with the proper service Intervals. Lexus often sell cars without a full service history, instead they call it a ' Lexus approved history' . They will also still bang a Lexus warranty on it regardless.
So clearly the previous owner didn't cherish it and I guess question will be asked if I come to sell it on privately.
Any thoughts ?

Get the dealer to carry out whatever was missed from service 2. I assume it's a reasonable price already considering it's basically a new car without FSH. If you plan on selling in a few months it might be questioned, if you get a few years worth of stamps in the book it probably won't make much difference.

Thats sold it appears. I don't want to identify the dealer or car just yet as we are at a bit of a sensitive stage. I've got a buyer for mine so need to move on this one way or another or be without wheels and cancel the sale of mine. Edited by doog442 on Thursday 28th November 20:29

That was my thought. This isn't the sort of car that Mrs Miggins who doesn't know a service from a shampoo & set will buy. so the next buyer will also be canny to the SH. It could either be difficult to see, or if you trade it, the dealer will chip you. In practice, that first service at 6k / 17 months would only have been an oil change and a cursory inspection. The 20k / 2 year service is slightly more thorough inspection for most Lexus, with a basic oil change and check again at 30k - but I haven't checked for this model.
I'd want to check that the car had had the higher grade service recently, but wouldn't otherwise be concerned. It's only done 15k and had 2 inspections and oil changes in 3 years, whereas a "full history" car could have double the miles and one extra oil change (i.e. done more distance between services).

My hybrid version also missed the second service. First was at 5000 miles, at a year old, second at 10000 when I purchased at 3 years old. The second service did 'catch up' the schedule. Didn't overly worry me, as some marques with condition based services go up to 22k between oil changes.
They did of course give the years warranty. I won't be taking the car back there for services, and I did check with the local dealer if there would be future problems renewing the extended warranty, and was assured it would be ok.
