Heard there's a track day at Goodwood tomorrow - Monday Sept 30th. Apparently free to get in and joe public gets to ride in all sorts of fancy machines - tvrs, ferarris, lambos, porkers, etc. For charity I think so I suppose there's a contribution to be made somewhere down the line.

Anyone know anything about this? Starting time, etc? Sounds like a fun Monday!

I found some more details - think I will take a look. Office or a drive down to the coast and see some exotica? No contest!

They call it Glorious Goodwood and the weather was bloody marvellous. Came back with sunburn and I had to leave at 2pm! I was amazed at how many cars were running passengers around - tenner for 15 track minutes and no entry charge. Must have been around 60 hot machines. Nice collection of Chims (3) and a Cerb (wow, B19TOY looked quick ) plus an amazing collection of prancing horses etc. The smoothest sounding sports car was an Ultima Spyder. I got there too late to bag a ride in one of the Radical SR3s - Tiff had a go in one during the lunchtime cavalcade but I'd have liked to see him grab it by the throat and give it a damn good shaking!

I took a few digipics and will try to post them later - I've got to get back to work for the moment!

Steve - sorry to have missed you. I was driving the starmist blue 450 but I may have left before you arrived. See you next weekend if you're on the Surrey Run.
