saw this and wondered if it could be of use to poseurs or as an aid to defeat speed cameras?

even if not the way they point out its illegal to obscure number plates is quite obviously the crux of the ad

drseg, are you suggesting that some members of this site may be:
(a) poseurs? surely not.
(b) given to law breaking. - speaking for myself, my clapped out 1300 Xflow can only achieve the national ordinary road limit going downhill with a strong following wind.

would i? could i? ever suggest any kinda lawbreaking? my moms a magistrate, i was a civil servant - an upstanding member of the comunity - i have signed peoples passports!! [but even a seriously clapped 1300 can do over 30mph so IF you were to spray some mud to make it look like you'd been off road and it accidentally obscurred your no. plate and as the ad says you were prosecuted for that offence - it carries no points] but thats pure conjecture I would never advocate any form of law breaking [in writing] but if posing saves 3 points well pose away lol
interestingly enough at a bike show i saw a square numberplate with the same "you must not use this to escape speed cameras" type disclaimer that was hinged across the middle of the plate and folded - so "pictures on track days didn't reveal your reg. number" good almost james bond toy lol
plate under spare tyre is slightly iffy on mine - i didnt build it or put it there lol
occifer!!
lol

If you do want to go down the 'muddy look' posing route Dr, don't buy it, we've got loads down here on the roads....I'll bottle you up some. What sort do you want? I can get you some white stuff...plentiful as we've got all the clayworks round here (looks particularly fetching on Red Jeeps) Ordinary brown mud, more suited to white jeeps I think.....and may I recomend the excellent runny brown/green mud...would suit those darker painted Jeeps with a hint of lime green lol

I think the excellent runny browny/green colour is also known as "baby's first nappy".......not something you want all over your lime green wheels , is it Dave?
