Powder goes in the curvy one on the right. Soft rinse goes in the one with the blue mesh over the top.

However, because I'm nice I shall tell you.

The powder / washing liquid goes in the big one.

The softner / comfort stuff goes in the one with the filtery thing.

The third tiny one is for bleach, I think, which you should never bother using.

There. Easy. Now off and work out how to turn the thing on!

Ok thanks everyone. I have some washing powder and some other stuff that I've seen go in the washing machine.Here goes ......

Just make sure you mix whites with darks, and you'll be fine.

Then there is those liquid capsule efforts, which just need placing on top of the wash in the drum. You have sorted your wash into colours haven't you

Oh gawd, it's started now. There's some jeans , T shirts , bed stuff , socks and thongs ( ok the last one's a joke ) and some other stuff all in there. I was told number 4 setting is a quick wash that's not a boil wash. Am I going to end up with some multi colour T shirts now ?
