direct injection delete

hi guys
I'm looking for info on the direct injection delete and what is used

I'm converting an Audi v8 cau engine to port injection and heard that there was a motorsport kit for the Lambos that deletes the direct injection

any info would be most welcome

Lambo use a dual fuel injection - system uses direct and indirect injection on the V10, allows them I believe to avoid having to fit a gasoline particulate filter to the engine...

The Lamborghini Huracan, the company’s Gallardo replacement, has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show. The Huracan remains naturally aspirated, using an evolution of the Gallado’s V10 engine, sharing the same 5204cc of swept capacity but with both direct and indirect fuel injection to combine both power and the all-important emissions compliance.

Using two different sizes of injectors allows the smaller injectors to be used when no full power is required and the other injectors to be used with full power is required. Control of the smaller injectors will probably be easier to manage. And probably help meet emissions

thanks for that im aware of the double system used in fueling
im trying to find out if anybody has any info on the kit released by Lamborghini Squadra Corse, thats used in the gt racing series of cars
where they delete the direct injection
