Finally I've got to bite the bullet and get a new laptop. The old one is so slow that it's become unusable

So upgrading to something better. I only browse web, occasional documents, rare picture editing and probably some other stuff.

I was looking at a 8gb, 250ssd, Windows 10 thing. Will this sort my needs? Is it over kill?

Not fussed about smaller SSD as I've got a spare 250GB.

Thanks

You got it! An i3, 8GB, 250GB SSD is entry level. All the big players ship them by the truckload. Pay more, get more, the usual.

There are a lot of ex business refurbs a couple years old at that spec, if price is your primary concern. Amazon or eBay.

I got a G3 of the above poster from Ebay a few weeks ago. Still has HP warranty. Sub £250 but needed a new SSD its lightening fast and does everything a new one would do.

Short and sweet. Excellent.

Seems like I don't have to think that much. Cheers chaps.

Thanks
