I dont like whisky particularly, so I wouldn’t be a buyer. But for those that do like whisky, is anyone going to actually buy this stuff?

If it doesn't work, then all Bowmore have to do is reprint the labels without AML on them. The spirit itself isn't wasted, so perhaps it is whisky, but it's a limited whisk.

I like whiskey now and again, always have a bottle or three at home. I have been to Bowmore, tasted Bowmore, (it`s good stuff) but have never bought Bowmore, as I have other preferences. A partnership with AM is not going to change that for me. Suspect it will for some though.
On that note, time for a Yamazaki...

Absolute joke.

“Brand” (which is how they see themselves) has lost its way; unlikely to exist in 5 years time due to st decisions like this, unfortunately (not as a car maker, anyway - suspect they will still branded ste to gullible James Bond wannabes).

What made AM special went years ago, they’re flogging a dead horse now.

This pursuit of being a "luxury goods" company is a crying shame. Be a great car company.

Stock price multiple is much higher for luxury goods versus automotive. Sensible business decision when going for IPO

Whisky = Scots

Whiskey = Irish/US

Either way is correct just depends on the type

True John, but need all revenue to be derived from making expensive watches, handbags, jewellery etc. for a genuine higher rating, not just be loosely associated with those activities. Volkswagen could start selling some pricey handbags, but of course their share price would not triple, because they would remain overwhelmingly a car manufacture.

Possibly might produce a temporary float price increase. Some firms have attempted that.

Feels to me that AML has less integrity as a brand when it does this sort of thing. I don't see how AML whisky/whiskey is in any way better than the product without the logo so they must think buyers are prepared to buy anything with the wings on, irony being slow car sales.

Is there Ferrari whisky? Or an alternative liquor?

No, but you can check the time on your Hublot Ferrari watch whilst shielding your eyes from the sun with your Ray-Ban Ferrari sunglasses

Actually,I think it would be a very ‘nice touch’ to get a bottle of AML whisky in that lovely AM presentation box when we buy our cars.......A nicer, classier alternative to the bottle I got.

There is a Ferrari wine company producing expensive sparkling wine in Italy since Enzo was a nipper.

So, fortunately? for Ferrari SpA they can't go there

Closest you can get is drinking this wink
