Speedster 930 Help
Discussion
Having decided against chopping in my TT coupe for a TT cab I'm in the market for a summer car. I've just seen and driven a speedster but at £38000 it seems expensive, is the rarity going to keep prices up or will I take a big hit when its time to sell, all advice greatly appreciated also if any others known for sale.
Speedster 930 is indeed a rarity....Although they made the 911 3.2 speedster in both narrow and Turbo bodied, I do not believe they made any production Turbo versions.
These cars are often garage queens and appear expensive, they can be for sale for some time until sold. I have seen a few higher mileage examples change hands in the late 20k's (pounds).
I suggest you contact Chris Davenport who is the PCGB
speedster register secretary 911speedster@porscheclub.com Cars often change hands through word of mouth rather than advertising.

It's a turbo bodied 3.2. As Paul says, they are invariably garage queens and seem hard to shift - several around at the mid £30s price and if you buy one at that price - do you pile the miles on and watch it depreciate, or do you cosset it for the next owner????
I can't recall right now which of the 2 3.2 bodied versions is the rarest. Personally I think the 964 version that came later looks the mutts nuts

I know where there is a fab PCGB Concours winning car for sale at 36k ono and wonder if this is the car you are talking about. Its an 89 Turbo bodied in White and I think about 19k miles on it ?? If it is the same car its a peach. Been for sale a while so he may take an offer but if you want one you wouldnt go wrong with it.
Mail me if you want the contact details
