Blackhawks Over London Today

On my commute into the office in the city this morning I was first stopped by Police outriders and a convoy swept towards the Regents Park area with an armoured S class and 2 Viano’s. Then later into the ride 2 Blackhawks or MH60’s (what ever the correct designation is) flew over tailed by a Met EC-145 and it looked like they were landing in Regents Park. They looked like they were in the US Presidential colours but it was hard to say from a distance.

Anyone know what’s going on in town today, it’s a relatively unusual sight, plus I couldn’t pick any of them up on ADSB exchange including the Met helicopter that usually shows?

I see that now, there’s a German A319 heading east now from the UK with a Croatian CL60 behind it.

A USAF 752 is heading south over the channel with a US G5 in front of it too. A good day for nerdy virtual plane spotters (like me). Although I did at least see the MH-60’s in the metal.

Five minutes ago six helicopters flew south over Radlett and Borehamwood in Herts. The NATO event has been held at The Grove just outside Watford. Huge police and military presence locally.
