I'm having a problem with the passenger window on my V8 Vantage roadster.

When I press the switch in either direction, the window moves for about 0.5 seconds then stops. I then have to release the button and press it again and repeat until the window is full down or up.

I have tried the following:
Disconnect and reconnect the battery.
Remove Fuse 82 and replace.
Recalibrate the windows top and bottom position.

Please can anyone help me with this one?

I had exactly the same issue last year on my 2007 V8V coupe. Apparently It's the failure of the 'door module', they had to be replaced as a pair (both doors) and surprisingly cost over £1k fitted at AM Cambridge. Shockingly expensive but cured the issue.

The door module went on my old car, its about £300, you can DIY fit, instructions online, a bit fiddly but no more than hour or so.

So is it not true about doing them in pairs?

Not that I know of. Cant see anything in the workshop manual window section either that mentions pairs.

I imagine Bogie did his before the part was superseded so got away with only doing one. As Mike says in the video, old part won't work with new one so you now have to do them as a pair. I suppose if you could find a working second hand old module then you could get away with just one. In fact, given you have to replace them in pairs, I imagine someone somewhere has a little pile of working old ones ......

Ah...so they have changed a part recently ? I did mine about 5 years ago.

Found one here, but no idea if its the new or old part ?
