My wife showed me this thread, etc etc.

Wife wants to invite friend over to stay at Christmas. Husband is frosty about it. Additional information dropped in as thread continues.

Reassuringly posters are on the side of the husband!

Yeah, unless that gets some new juicy posts it was a total waste of time. Certainly no "penis beaker"

"My Ex girlfriend is staying over Christmas with my husband and I.

I'm thankful he is understanding as she has no one else to share Christmas with.

We are all good friends now. I'm glad he is mature and kind enough to see passed our former relationship and allow us to be friends. Also when my ex was still my girlfriend she was fine with DH coming round for Christmas and spending the whole week with us.

Though I know we are an unusual situation but just proving that strong, platonic friendships can happen."

Not been on mumsnet before

I like their front end. Much cleaner look than ours. Far more modern.

Dunno how it copes with multi nesting quotes though.

Aye hes giving her it right up the tail pipe then going to bed with the wife.

I'll be honest. Thread was awaste of time and I was waiting for the juicy info the entire time. No pregnancy, no stds, no nothing. Its mumsnet surely you can find something better.

As for the husband.. that wife would be punted.

I can't believe MN was on the blokes side! I've read some stories that sounded like the woman was a right old witch but all of the women were like "GIRL POWER, KICK HIM OUT AND TAKE KIDS WITH YOU!"

scary place.

They do side with the men more often that you might think.

There's one running at the moment, woman at swimming pool with her 2 y/o son. She's not swimming, he's going into a lesson. She takes him into the men's changing rooms, because he's a boy obviously! confused And is then appalled to find men in there....bloody naked, the disgusting pervs!

She got her arse well and truly handed to her on a plate by the MN collective.

Husbands being mugged off by his wife. The end.

Guys find it hard enough to put up with family members on xmas day, let alone some freeloaded who is trying to/ or is banging your wife, drinking your drinks and emptying the fridge.

she needs a dose of reality but I think she already knows whats going on but is looking to MN to justify the rouge.
