Ford Fiesta Privilege help

Would like some advice on what to do in regards to the below, please:

I have a Ford Fiesta Titanium on the Ford Privilege scheme in 2018. Agreed at 9k miles p/a. Normally with the privilege, you can swap the car every 9 months as long as your not in negative equity. Now we are around 3k in negative equity according to the dealer and have done to date around 18k miles.

The car is on HP, but was wondering what is the best way to finish of the deal to clear the negative equity?

Priv is simply some extra money off a new car over and above the normal retail offers/ and what a dealer can do. Once the car is purchased you are in exactly the same position as a normal retail customer (apart from purchasing the car slightly cheaper in the first place). So if you are in neg equity and have done double the miles its irrelevant that you are a Ford employee/Priv.

9 months is simply the minimum you agree to keep the car because of this extra discount. Im the same in this respect but our last car (1 year old now) was purchased to keep for a while anyway.

For the past 20 years Priv customers have been doing a PCP , swapping at 9 months and going again. They never cared about mileage bands or term as they would simply swap them at 9 months. The issue is now that the bubble has burst a bit and nearly all Priv customers are in neg eq.

Your options are .... find the 3k , keep the car longer and hope it starts to level out, or call enough dealers maybe someone out there is desperate for a December deal. I wouldnt hold out much hope of keeping a similiar payment though.

Back a few years ago £99 dep and 24 x£99 got you a Fiesta zetec 5 dr, those days are long gone.
