Run in service x3m x4m BMW?

Coming from AMG which gives free run in service at 1500 miles, does BMW offer same free run in service for their x3m / x4m models? It’s just electric rear diff LSD oil change?

No, they generally charge for it about 400-500 quid.

It's a diff and engine oil replacement, and depending on who you talk to, some claim more power is liberated from the engine at that point.

I paid £320~ish for my M4 CP running-in service if memory serves, after 'phoning around.

Worth checking as the running in service on my M5Comp was close to £750, which is quite an increase on previous M’s (should be able to get a bit of discount).

I booked mine if for next week, was quoted £476. Seems extortionate, but seemed to be the cheapest out of the dealers closest to me. Has anyone managed to get it cheaper?
