Richard Burgon MP
Discussion
This chap's profile has been raised by the election. He is trotted out a lot. IMO it' as much to do with some other Labour stalwarts being unusually quiet- Shami. Diane Abbott , and especially Emily Thornberry.
So Richard has been used a ,lot
IMHO he is a colossal throbber but also really quite unpleasant. I just though he deserved his own entry.

Starmer/Abbott/Thornberry are being kept out of the spotlight by Corbyn & McDonnell because of their personal views on Brexit. So Richard has been used a ,lot

The problem for Labour is Burgon is causing more damage than the 3 who are being kept under wraps combined, the Guy is an absolute clown.

Burgeon moaned at the Tory chap last week on the ITV debate for politicising the terrorist tragedy last Friday. However, Burgeon spoke before the Tory chap did and moaned about the Government slashing police numbers by 21,000.
I seem to remember him answering a question from the presenter with a vomit inducing smirk, which rapidly disappeared when he realised the cameras were on him.

Ideal for NHS middle management.
He's like a union convenor in a suit. Dead behind the eyes (the eyes of a maniac). Likewise Starmer.Starmer: always looks like he's at least two poos behind schedule.
Oh he's my current favourite clown on the Labour front bench (though it is a close run thing - they are all hilariously weak). He is smug, condescending, slow of thinking, proven liar with some dodgy views ("Israel is the enemy of peace") and would not be able to pour water out of a boot if the instructions were printed on the heel. I liked one description of him as being a "bayard" which is “someone with an unshakeable self-confidence that is rooted in ignorance”,
I not completely sure that he isn't actually David Walliams trying out a new Little Britain character.
Here he is, proving he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer on Sky News. He bullishly declared that Labour really wanted an election. Kay Burley suggested that the polls meant that his party was heading for defeat. With all the poise of Fred Flintstone in a suit, he boomed: “The polls said we wouldn’t win last time!” Helpfully, Burley pointed out that they didn’t win last time.

Priceless.
To be clear, I think the Conservative front bench is not much better. But Burgon really has a special talent - much like Grayling had.
