F1 Austin 2020 - Tips for where to stay and where to watch?

Hi all, I'm looking for some help to make the most of our visit next year. We have flights to the USA booked then an onwards flight to Austin on Thursday 22nd Oct.
After that it's a blank page at the moment. The main things I want to get sorted are, where to stay (thinking about getting from hotel to circuit) and what tickets to get for the race (general admission or reserved seats).
My wife is OK with F1, but not the biggest fan so I need to think about minimising walking and hanging around for hours in queues if possible. Our budget is flexible within reason, I've signed up for the notification for when tickets go on sale.
This is a part of a longer holiday/tour we are doing, we don't need to cram everything into a few days.
