I’ve got a 2019 Tiguan R line 190 tsi and wondered two things

1. Based in London where would be the best place to get it remapped? I understand you can get +45bhp and +80nm out of this engine.

2. As it’s a brand new car, is there any point as it will invalidate the warranty?

But then we would be enthusiasts if we weren’t thinking about doing these things!!

Grateful for any help and advice

Pendle or Revo for remaps on VW T6’s, not the same as a Tiguan, but similar.

No matter what anybody tells you, dealers can and will find evidence of a map in the event of a major warranty claim.

The 204tsi T6 engine is good for a safe 300bhp, I don’t see why the Tiguan wouldn’t be any different.

My 204 bi-turbo diesel runs at a reliable 250bhp, it’s a Revo generic map, Pendle maps are bespoke and mapped on a rolling road to your exact vehicle spec.

Never actually did anything about it as it’s not my primary car and don’t really need it to be any faster as I have other cars for that.
Still....it’s an itch I may need to scratch at some point but it’s only a year old so don’t want to risk losing the warranty yet.

Ours is about to go in for a stage 1 APR remap at VRS in a few weeks, but it's a mk1 2010 2.0TSI R Line with the earlier engine 200bhp as standard. Also getting tensioner updated, new chain, front discs and pads, control arm bushes and oil and filter service and DSG readaption. Hoping it will feel a bit more spritely and tighter for it.
