Why are VM absolutely SCREWING age old customers, that have been loyal for in excess of 10 years ?

Why is it always about the New punter ?

Because you ps off all the old ones and theyve sacked VM off ?

Hi Turn7,

Unfortunately I agree with you but then it’s the same with most aspects of services these days that loyalty isn’t rewarded. Car insurance, gas, electricity and alike. I’m just trying to help those looking to change provider some help to get low bills and those who are having issues some extra technical support.

That’s not what I’m here about I’m here as a member try to help others out be that through helping them get a good deal or because they are having issues with their services. I’d like to think that if you were a customer and were having some issues you knew that you could come on here for some extra help.

I've just spent 50 minutes in total to keep a deal I got last year.
20 years plus a customer .
I tried to cancel, then I started getting somewhere.
Full bundle, BT Sport for the Moto GP a landline deal which I dont even have in my house!
And 100 MB speed. It came in at £60 a month down from £78
I feel better, but still know a new customer will get this deal for around £30.
If I didn't love Motogp I would be on Freeview !

I’m on Freeview
TalkTalk Fibre £22 a month
BT mobile sim w/ free BT Sport
Now TV premier league £9.99 mobile pass for the Footy.

Make no sense to pay £60/£70 a month anymore...

Not sure this is the sort of response the OP was looking for
Couldn't you have softened it a little by saying what do you do that compares

As I said I’m here for service support too if you’re having issues

And get that not everyone needs everything when it comes to packages. As a company we offer broadband only for those that build their own set ups to suit their needs.

I asked about having BB only. and was told I cant my current 70mb, its 50/100 only....

Was quoted nearly £50 for 100mb alone, when Im paying (too much) £67 for 70 plus talk weekends and TV.

vm have sunk to Sky levels of arrogance for me these days, and Ive been a customer since dial up....

Butting in but

A close friend did a Talk Talk connection recently. Phone point installed etc
On a faster fibre speedboost deal that he got at £24* a month the original quote was between 54.5 to 73,6 mb download and 17.5 to 18.9 mb upload

Reality is it gets 68mb download and 17.6 upload and is stable as a rock
  • The price original quoted was £25.95 a month but reduced down when the original deal was going to be cancelled.
