Anyone want to do one of the Track Academy days at Donington later this month?

PHers who did the initail day at Mallory came back full of praise.

If there's sufficient interest then I'll talk to track-club about doing a PHers's day (26th June/Donington pencilled in).

Hi.. So does £295 get you instruction AND track time during the day with your own car? Is it open pitlane so i.e. after a session with instructor you can go out to attempt to put theory into practice?

Thanks

Yes, the format of the day is as follows;

0830 - Welcome to track-academy driver briefing
0900 - Sighting laps to familiarise yourself with the track
1000 - Classroom briefing
1020 - On track (1st group of drivers with instructors)
1100 - Classroom briefing
1120 - On track (2nd group of drivers with instructors)
1200 - Third briefing
1220 - On track until lunch

The afternoon replicates this with further classroom sessions and further sessions in car with an instructor. If you are not scheduled for in car instruction or not in a classroom session the rest of the track time is yours to practice what you have been taught so far.

If anyone would like any further details please call me on 0870 24 25 402

There are four places left on this course. We also have a couple of hire cars left for it, one Caterham RoadSport B and an E30 M3 is available if someone wants to hire a car for it.

If anyone wants to follow up with level two and wants to combine it with a Spa trip then there are also some places available on level one and two at Spa in August.
