Build quality and reliability - Audi A3 or VW Golf
Discussion
Depends!
If you're buying a new model variant of car (different engine, turbo, new dashboard, new MMI system), then you're more likely to have issues.
One of the reasons I still think skoda *tend* to be more reliable is that the tech' has trickled down through audi / vw first, and the issues mostly ironed out.
I don't think the build quality is that different between an A3 and a golf (or a leon / octavia for that matter) - they're built all over the world in countries that all have Friday afternoons
