Early Christmas gift to myself. Lots of lovely Carbon and milled Aluminium parts.

Sorry, pictures are not uploading again.

Damn it’s frustrating!

Hi bud, similar IOS device, it’s my iPad Pro.

I can’t be bothered to try it on my MBP, it’s just become to hard to do anything here now!

I thought I did start a thread this time
Last year!

It was clearly when we had problems with posting pictures.

Let me see if I can find them!

In for this one... they were selling these dirt cheap on the Corally outlet a while back... should have got one but didn't need another 12th I don't use!

Yep got mine from Stephan for €99!

I can’t find the photos though sadly!

I saw he had a nice Destiny the other week as well... thankfully someone bought that as it was awfully cheap and kept winking at me! He does have some bargains. Had never heard of them until you told me about them... now I'm literally poorer for it!

Did you ever get a body and run it?

Yes and yes, but as with all things the body remains unpainted!

And sadly our local indoor carpet racing at my sons and daughters school which was only 10 minutes away closed down! And they even gave all the circuit guides and other gear like transponders away too!

Disappointing but it does feel like pan cars are a thing of the past, despite some sign of life in the 12ths. Don't think it helps that the likes of Group C are no longer in the public consciousness.

So amazingly despite finishing the chassis build on this one three years ago it’s sat in its box doing nothing.

So as it’s almost winter and I need something to do I thought it needs to be finished!

Found this online for not a lot of money so thought why not get the matching motor for the car.

Lovely looking motor!

That’s what I thought too bud!

The next question is what ESC to get, can’t find a Corally Cerix one in stock anywhere, I think a lot of the Corally stuff is end of line, pretty much like the car itself and hence no longer available.

But a lot of the other brands seem really really expensive now, and I’m still not happy to buy a super cheap Chinese one, as I know they will just fry themselves too easily!

Any one got any suggestions?

I use a Turnigy Trackstar 1S in my RC12R5... No issues and good value... if they're still available!

So I did manage to find a stockist of the Corally Cerix who had it discounted as an end of line product so i snapped it up.

Arrived today.

Will get it soldered and installed later today.

Wired up and soldered the motor to the ESC today.

Pleased with how neat I managed to get the end result.

Looks great - did it come with a programming box?
